It can accurately reproduce the trajectories of real traffic participants and high-risk scenarios, providing efficient dynamic testing conditions for intelligent driving systems. ![]() Advantage 2:Seamless Gradient Weather Changes for Accurate Real-World Replication In response to CMVR’s demand for "full-scenario, high-fidelity" testing, Shanghai Digauto, drawing on its extensive experience in environmental simulation testing, has equipped the laboratory with a leading fully adjustable environmental system. The system enables precise and continuous adjustment of parameters such as rain, fog and light, realistically simulating dynamic weather transitions such as "light rain gradually intensifying into downpours". It systematically verifies vehicle detection and response capabilities during meteorological changes. ![]() Advantage 3:Industry’s First Real-Time Integration of "Real Climate" and "Virtual Traffic" The laboratory takes the lead in China in realizing "superimposed operation of virtual and real scenarios in the same space and at the same time".Through a dedicated laboratory dynamometer bench, real vehicles can operate in actual rain, fog and light environments. The system supports front-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive vehicles, with a maximum speed of 150 km/h and a maximum load capacity of 3,500 kg, accommodating vehicles with a wheelbase of 1.5–1.9 m and wheel track of 2.6–3.4 m. Meanwhile, it interacts in real time with virtually generated road loads and collaboratively controlled complex traffic flows (e.g., vehicles and pedestrians).This breaks the limitations of pure software or single-element hardware-in-the-loop simulation in traditional laboratories, enabling more efficient and safer scenario verification than pure physical testing. ![]() Advantage 4:Sensor Testing "Returns to Real Roads" to Consolidate Testing Benchmarks In line with CMVR’s core requirement of "test results close to real road conditions", Shanghai Digauto has minimized signal interference to sensors such as millimeter-wave radars from metal structures based on practical application scenarios, more authentically replicating the sensor working environment of vehicles on actual roads.This detailed design provides a reliable and interference-free benchmark testing ground for key technologies including multi-sensor fusion and high-precision positioning, supporting the seamless adaptation of intelligent perception systems from laboratories to real roads.
